The JEOL JEM-1400 Flash is a LaB₆ transmission electron microscope with cryo capability.  Acquisition of this instrument was funded entirely by the Office of Research Infrastructure Programs of the National Institutes of Health under award number S10OD030309.  Installation was completed in February 2022.
