Eduardo I. Faúndez I am a collector and preparator of insects in the Laboratory of Entomology, Instituto de la Patagonia, Universidad de Magallanes (Punta Arenas, Chile), and associate researcher in the Centro de Estudios en Biodiversidad CEBCh (Osorno, Chile). My primary research interest is biology, biogeography, teratology, and systematics of Pentatomoidea, especially the Acanthosomatidae I earned by B.S. in biology and chemistry at the Universidad de Magallanes in 2007. Currently, I am working on several long term projects concerning the Neotropical Acanthosomatidae, and southern South American Pentatomidae (especially Chilean Pentatomidae).
