Alex Ramsay
United Kingdom

I am currently a principal ecologist for an ecological consultancy based in northern England.  I am interested in faunistics of UK Heteroptera but with an increasing focus on Western Palearctic Pentatomoidea taxonomy and ecology, particularly for cryptic and poorly-known species.  I am also researching the pentatomid fauna of Greece, particularly zoogeography of island faunas.

I am also developing an interest in Penatomidae and Acanthosomatidae worldwide with a view to improving ecological knowledge of newly described and poorly known species.  I am a visiting researcher in Hemiptera at the Natural History Museum, London.
