Insecticide Dispensors

    Through history, one of the primary means that we have used to control insect pests is through the use of chemicals.  These come in a variety of formulations (liquids, granules, dust, etc.), and so specialized equipment had to be developed to deliver these different types of insecticides.  These range from small hand-held puffers to large tractor-style equipment.  Certain companies (Chapin, Hudson) were prolific in developing spray guns, while others appear to have produced only a few models.  Smaller hand-held spray guns were commonly called flit guns
