North Dakota State University (NDSU), originally North Dakota Agricultural College (NDAC) founded in 1890, has celebrated homecoming since 1921. The tradition began with our athletic teams known as the "Aggies" and evolved in 1922 when the NDAC Lettermen’s Club adopted the "Bison" nickname.

Today, NDSU's homecoming festivities include a parade featuring the Gold Star Marching Band, intense athletic rivalries, a Blue Key Honor Society show, a day of service to our local community and more, offering a rich historical celebration for the entire community to enjoy.
