Discover NDSU is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 19 and Friday, Oct. 20. The event is a chance for potential students and families to get to know all NDSU has to offer.
Discover NDSU is a great opportunity to learn everything about what makes NDSU a special place.
The university’s largest campus visit event of the year is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 19 and Friday, Oct. 20. During Discover NDSU, prospective students and their families can tour facilities, meet students and professors, and learn about academic life, student involvement, scholarships and other opportunities available to NDSU students. A complimentary meal in one of our award-winning dining centers also will be provided.
“Visiting campus is one of the best ways to get an accurate pulse on campus life and offerings. Students often tell us that visiting during Discover NDSU or one of our other visit events was what sealed the deal for them,” said Seinquis Leinen, NDSU director of admission. “Our visit offerings allow students to see campus, explore academic offerings and learn all the ways students are supported during their time at NDSU.”

Each day has two sessions:
Thursday, Oct. 19
8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
1:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 20
8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
1:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Register early because the event fills up fast.
There also are several more chances to visit NDSU this fall.
Weekend visits are programmed primarily based on academic college. However, you can attend weekend visits regardless of your academic interest. Look at our list of majors to see which academic college visit best matches with your interests.
Weekend visits include:
- Admission presentation and next steps information
- Panel with current students
- 75-minute walking tour of campus
- Interactive experiences with faculty
- Optional complimentary lunch in the West Dining Center
