NDSU art professor to serve as grant program panelist

Kimble Bromley, NDSU professor of art, had his session proposal and paper, “Strategies for Engaging General Education Students in the Visual Arts,” accepted to the 79th South East College Art Conference held in Richmond, Virginia on Oct. 11-14.

Kim Bromley, NDSU professor of art, will serve on the Minnesota State Arts Board as a FY2024 Creative Individuals grant program panelist. 

As a panelist, he will review 30 individual's grant applications and submit his results to the MSAB. 

This grant program provides support to help individual artists and culture bearers sustain their creative practices and meaningfully engage with their communities in a time of transition. Individuals can apply for up to $10,000 for their projects.

In addition, Bromley presented a lecture to the FM Camera Club in November. "The principal goal of the club is to help its members to improve their photographic skills through educational activities and by means of competition," as stated on their webpage.

 Composition and Form were the topics of Bromley's presentation to better assist its members to take better photographs.
