NDSU graduate Jace Beehler was appointed by NDSU President David Cook as NDSU’s next chief of staff. Beehler will start his new role on Dec. 30.
In a campuswide email sent Dec. 2, Cook said Beehler has “an impressive track record of professional experiences and a love for the Bison community.”
Beehler previously served as chief of staff to North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, a role Beehler held since 2020. Beehler built a strong foundation of public policy expertise at both state and federal levels. A skilled negotiator, project manager, and trusted advisor, Beehler is known for his integrity, strategic acumen and ability to foster relationships while delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges for the communities he serves.
During his time as a student at NDSU Beehler served as student body vice president and was president of the Blue Key Honor Society. He graduated from NDSU in 2013.
“His leadership experience and deep connection to NDSU uniquely position him to contribute exceptional vision and strategic insight in this role,” Cook said in his email.
