During the event new students will receive a warm welcome to campus, enjoy music from the Gold Star Marching Band and possibly a personal high-five from NDSU's very own President David Cook.
NDSU students, faculty and staff are encouraged to welcome new students to campus when they walk through the university gates at the corner of 12th Avenue and University Drive on Monday, Aug. 26, from 10:15 a.m. to 11 a.m.
During the event new students will receive a warm welcome to campus, enjoy music from the Gold Star Marching Band and possibly a personal high-five from NDSU's very own President David Cook.
The gesture is part of a signature event that helps celebrate the new academic year during Welcome Week. Welcome Week is scheduled for Aug. 24 through Sept. 8.
