NDSU hidden disabilities week scheduled

SHARE

NDSU’s Center for Accessibility and Disability Resources is hosting a full week of events centered around hidden disabilities from March 21 through March 27.

The events will focus on raising awareness and supporting individuals with hidden disabilities.

“The importance of learning about hidden disabilities and hearing peoples lived experiences is extremely critical,” said Molly McKinnon, director of the Center for Accessibility and Disability Resources. “Hidden disabilities affect students, staff and faculty more than one would think. When we understand that unseen challenges have dramatic barriers for many, we can then create more inclusive and empathetic environment for those who have hidden disabilities.”
