A team of fourth-year NDSU pharmacy students finished in the top 16 at the American College of Clinical Pharmacy Clinical Challenge held Sept. 5 through 13.

The challenge, a national event open to all 130 pharmacy schools in the country, is held online each September.

“In the roughly 15 years this event has been held, this is only the second time NDSU has made it to the fouth round” said student organization advisor, Donald Miller, NDSU Professor Emeritus and professor of pharmacy practice. “We had a really outstanding group, consisting of Ashley Mae Herold, Brittany Fraase, Anna Lundeen, Cody Lineburg and Hailey Wanner.”

During the event, teams compete in three segments during each round, including a trivia/lightning round, a clinical case and a Jeopardy-style segment. Half of competing teams are eliminated each round.
