Kim Gourneau, the current director of registration and academic records at Minnesota State University Mankato, has been named NDSU registrar. Gourneau will start her new role on March 17.
Gourneau’s prior experience includes positions at Bemidji State University and Northwest Technical College as registrar, financial aid director at Leech Lake Tribal College and financial aid officer at Northwest Technical College. Her experience also includes serving as bookstore manager for both Dakota College at Bottineau and Turtle Mountain Community College.
Gourneau earned her associate of arts from Turtle Mountain Community College, a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of North Dakota, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Mary.
In a campuswide email, Provost David Bertolini thanked members of the search committee, as well as RaNelle Ingalls and Jackie Schluchter for serving as Interim Co-Registrars.
