As part of a continued international collaboration, NDSU will be hosting the ninth annual NDSU-Kagoshima University Symposium on biomaterials on Oct. 14 and 15 in the Memorial Union.
The symposium, which will center on the broad aspects of biotechnology, nanomaterials and polymers, will feature invited presentations, a poster session and opportunities to network. The symposium will also include a workshop for visiting students.
The long-standing partnership between NDSU and Kagoshima University is made possible through Mukund Sibi, NDSU distinguished professor in chemistry and biochemistry, Dean Webster, NDSU professor and chair of coatings and polymeric materials, and faculty at Kagoshima University.
The partnership allows students from NDSU and Kagoshima University to take turns visiting each other’s universities, attending classes and exploring different cultures.
