SHARE

NDSU’s Center for Community and Belonging, formerly Multicultural Programs, is preparing to honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day at NDSU. The campus community is invited to attend a unique and impactful event where playwright, director and performer, Ira Knight, will perform “From Myth to Man: Martin Luther King, Jr.: An Interpretation,” which will be held on Jan. 15 at 2:30 p.m. in the Beckwith Recital Hall (located at 1511 12th Ave. N.).

This engaging performance offers a rare opportunity to not only explore the legacy and timeless lessons of Dr. King, but his life as a husband and father, as well. Those who attend will gain a deeper understanding of Dr. King's vision, insight into the ongoing importance of civil rights, and will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with the campus community.

A Q&A session with Knight, will follow the 30-minute performance. The event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.
