NDSU Provost Margaret Fitzgerald has announced the search committee for the next dean of libraries. The group will conduct a national search. David Buchanan, associate dean of the College of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Natural Resources, will chair the committee.

NDSU Provost Margaret Fitzgerald has announced Keerthi Nawarathna has accepted the position of faculty fellow for honors and scholarships in the Office of the Provost.

Campus interviews have been scheduled with the three finalists for the NDSU dean of graduate and interdisciplinary studies position. Each also will give an online open forum presentation.

The North Dakota University System has launched a search for the next NDSU president. The 13-member search committee represents NDSU stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, alumni and the business community.

Mark Genkinger has been selected as NDSU’s director of human resources following a national search. He began his new role on Aug. 23. Genkinger has more than 33 years of experience in human resources leadership, coaching and mentoring employees and management.

Colleen Fitzgerald will be the new NDSU vice president for research and creative activity. Colleen Fitzgerald has accepted the position of vice president for research and creative activity at NDSU starting on Oct.1, Provost Margaret Fitzgerald announced Aug. 18.

Hallie Pritchett will serve as interim dean of libraries, Provost Margaret Fitzgerald announced July 21. Pritchett came to NDSU in August 2018 as associate dean of libraries for research and learning.

Four finalists are in the running for NDSU’s vice president for research and creative activity.

After an exceptional 34-year career at NDSU, longtime NDSU administrator Prakash Mathew has been selected to receive an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters.
