The NDSU Career and Advising Center hosted the Spring Career Expo on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at the Fargodome. The event is a valuable opportunity for students to network with a wide variety of employers seeking talent for full-time positions, internships and co-op experiences.

The Spring Career Expo is open to students from all majors, as well as NDSU alumni and students from area colleges. Employers attending the expo are actively recruiting for open roles, making it a key event for students looking to launch their careers or gain relevant industry experience.

“The Career Expo is a fantastic opportunity for students to connect with many industry partners in the state and region. Students report receiving interviews for internships and full-time employment which decreases the stress of searching for their next opportunity," said Becky Bahe, director of the Career and Advising Center. "These interactions affirm the quality and preparation of NDSU students and significantly help contribute to our regional workforce.”

Throughout the academic year, NDSU hosts multiple career fairs and networking events, ensuring that students can engage with potential employers across different industries. These events help students explore career paths, learn about job opportunities and gain insight into professional expectations.

At the Spring Career Expo, 274 employers were registered, offering around 1,500 students the chance to connect with a wide variety of hiring professionals. NDSU alumni and students from other area universities also attended the event.

Students attending the event were encouraged to bring updated résumés, dress professionally and be prepared to network with industry leaders. Career services also was available to help students with résumé reviews and interview preparation leading up to the event.
