Nominations for NDSU’s Tapestry of Inclusion are being accepted through Feb. 23 at 11:59 p.m.
The Tapestry of Inclusion is a textile mosaic that recognizes students, alum, faculty members and staff members who actively promote inclusion and campus or in the community.
Inductees promote, facilitate and advocate for people from at least one of the following categories:
- Age
- Ethnicity/Country of Origin
- Gender Expression/Identity
- Mental and Physical Ability
- Race
- Socioeconomic Status
- Religion
- Sex
- Sexual Orientation
- Veteran Status
Individuals have been inducted into the Tapestry of inclusion annually during a ceremony where they weave their piece of fabric into the Tapestry, which hangs year-round in the Memorial Union. This year’s ceremony is set for Wednesday, April 17, at noon in the Anishinaabe Theater, located on the second floor of the Memorial Union. Following the ceremony, inductees' photographs, biographies and fabric selections will be framed and hung alongside the Tapestry.
Fill out the nomination survey at the following link, and contact two additional individuals to complete the same survey for your nomination. Please note one nomination must come from a current NDSU student, and three total nominations must be submitted for the individual to be considered for induction.
