As part of its Executive Education program, NDSU Distance and Continuing Education is offering “The Leadership Retreat: Forward Thinking” at the Dakota Sun Gardens in Carrington, N.D., Oct. 15-16. The venue is centrally located from Bismarck, Minot, Fargo and Grand Forks to connect leaders from across the state.
Laurie Dietz, executive director of the Carrington Area Chamber of Commerce, said, “We are excited NDSU chose our community to be the site of the leadership retreat. Bringing an event like this to our area makes it easy for area employers to provide leadership development opportunities for their staff.”
The retreat is available to all levels of leadership to sharpen innovative and critical thinking skills. Participants will discover how to employ both the “left brain” structure and “right brain” creativity by harnessing them in the appropriate order at the correct time. Group rates and sponsorships are available for organizations looking to send several employees.
“The Leadership Retreat: Forward Thinking” is part of the Leadership Excellence Advancement Program within NDSU Executive Education that focuses on mid-level leadership development. A variety of sessions are offered this fall, including improve critical thinking, become a sustainable leader, master the 7 Mindsets and resolve conflicts.
