The NDSU Libraries will host a book talk, “Walking Out into the Sunshine,” by Ghazi Hassoun, professor emeritus, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 12, from 11 a.m. to noon in the Weber Reading Room of the Main Library. The event is supported by a Muslim Journeys Bookshelf grant through the American Library Association.
Hassoun’s memoir gives a first-hand account of Middle Eastern history, politics, religion, and economics, as well as profiles his friendships and family life both in Arab and American cultures.
