Lei Zhang, assistant professor of agribusiness and applied economics, is scheduled to present a seminar Friday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. in Richard H. Barry Hall room 126. The seminar is titled “Do Foreclosure Externalities Affect Higher-versus Lower-Priced Homes Differently?”
Zhang received her master’s degree and doctorate in economics at the University of Texas at Dallas and her doctorate in economics at University of Texas at Dallas. She previously taught at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, in Edinboro, Penn. She served on the President’s Commission on the Status of Women in 2011-12.
Her research interests include applied econometrics, macroeconomics and monetary economics, and regional and urban economics.
