Chung Park, professor of animal sciences, recently presented his work on maternal methyl diet and mammary development and carcinogenesis in a symposium session at the 2013 Global Breast Cancer Conference in Seoul, South Korea. The meeting, one of the key breast cancer research conferences, provides a forum for scientists and clinicians from a variety of disciplines to learn about the advances made in the fight against breast cancer.

Park also had a series of talks and meetings at Seoul National, Yeungnam, Jinju, Chunnam, and Kyung Hee Universities where alumni of the NDSU Dairy/Lactation Lab work as faculty members in different areas of animal science. While he was there, Park had the opportunity to discuss NDSU animal science activities and programs and work on developing potential collaborations and student exchange or recruitment programs.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
