The 23rd annual Bison Valentine Victory Blood Drive, sponsored by NDSU Athletics and United Blood Services, is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 10 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., at the Bison Sports Arena.
United Blood Services provides blood and blood products for patients at hospitals in North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota, and are in need of donations. The purpose of the blood drive is to involve all athletics staff, student-athletes and coaches from each of NDSU's 16 intercollegiate sports.
Appointments are scheduled for every 15 minutes, and persons wishing to schedule a time to donate are encouraged to call United Blood Services at 701-293-9453 or go to bloodhero.com and use the sponsor code: athletics.
While NDSU is inclusive in its policies, current federal regulations prevent particular individuals and groups from donating blood at this time.
