NDSU’s Distance and Continuing Education is scheduled to offer a money management workshop for college-age adults Tuesday, April 8, at 6:30 p.m., in the Stop and Go Center room D104. The workshop, “Starting Off Right: Money Management Basics,” will provide young adults with tools to take control of their financial future.
Presenter Todd Olson is a certified financial planner at Gate City Bank with more than 13 years experience. He will discuss fundamental investment concepts and provide a better understand long-term retirement planning. Topics include investing and the time-value of money, asset allocation strategies, social security, IRAs and the advantages of saving for retirement. The cost to attend is $15 per person.
