NDSU Bison basketball player Chris Kading was selected to the 2013-14 Summit League Academic All-League Team as voted by the faculty athletic representatives and sports information directors of the league’s eight member institutions. Announced April 10, the selections are based on academic and athletic performances this season.
Kading is a sophomore from De Pere, Wis., who has a 3.80 grade point average in exercise science and Spanish. He played in all 33 games this season, shooting 49.3 percent from the field and 85 percent at the free throw line.
To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30, completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team’s games.
