Kaarin Remmich, military and veterans service representative in the Office of Registration and Records, has been selected for the “Certifying Official Annual Award” to be presented June 19 in Bismarck, North Dakota.
NDSU was notified of the honor by Rhonda Schauer, director of the North Dakota State Approving Agency, administered by the North Dakota University System.
In her letter, Schauer wrote the agency’s function is to approve and monitor educational, vocational and professional program for eligible veterans. “We work in partnership with education facilities and the Department of Veteran Affairs to help assure accountability, institutional integrity and program quality,” Schauer wrote. “Ms. Remmich has served as the NDSU certifying official for six years and maintained impeccable records, providing guidance, assistance and outstanding service to veterans.”
NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
