The Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research, known as ND EPSCoR, invites NDSU department chairs and heads, deans recruiting department chair positions and directors of the ND EPSCoR-designated Research Initiative to submit proposals under its Infrastructure Improvement New Faculty Start-Up program. The competitive proposals are for start-up funds to hire tenure-track research faculty during fiscal 2016.
The major goal of this program is to attract highly qualified tenure-track faculty to North Dakota’s research-intensive universities who will be nationally competitive for grants from federal agency research programs in science, engineering and mathematics.
Letters of intent are due Thursday, June 26, at noon. Full proposals are due in the ND EPSCoR office prior to Thursday, Aug. 7, at noon. Interviews with an external review committee will be held on the NDSU campus.
Complete submission information can be found at www.ndepscor.nodak.edu/rfps/index.htm.
Questions may be directed to the campus ND EPSCoR office at 231-8400 or Elizabeth Jung at 231-1048 or elizabeth.jung@ndsu.edu.
NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
