To students from Janna Stoskopf, Dean of Student Life:
As we all attempt to deal with the loss of a member of the NDSU community, I am writing to again share resources and reminders for you to consider.
You can find information about campus emergency notification, crime prevention, personal safety and a variety of related issues online at http://www.ndsu.edu/police_safety/universitypolice/annualsecurityreport/. I hope you will take time to read this document. It provides an understanding of our commitment and efforts to provide a safe and secure campus for you to live and learn, and, if needed, how to respond for your personal safety and security.
I also want to repeat some information about the variety of resources available to you. The staff at the NDSU Counseling Center is available to provide support on an on-going basis as well as during times of crisis. You can call the center at any time at 701-231-7671. Residence Hall staff also will be able to support students in both group settings and individually as necessary. You may also choose to seek comfort from your personal spiritual support centers.
This is also a time when friends and family members may experience a wide range of emotion about your well-being. I encourage you to reach out to your friends and family.
If you have any general questions or concerns, please contact us via email at ndsu.studentlife@ndsu.edu, or call 701-231-6560.
