NDSU has scheduled a community engagement forum to discuss the impact of media. “Does the media shape our view of the world?” is scheduled Tuesday, Nov. 18, at noon in the Memorial Union Hidatsa room.
The event is intended to bring together NDSU students, faculty, staff and the community to learn about local, regional and worldwide social justice and community issues.
Panel members include:
- Kevin Wallevand, WDAY-TV reporter
- David Westerman, NDSU assistant professor of communication
- Michelle Sauvageau, NDSU senior electrical engineering student and executive commissioner of technology for NDSU Student Government
The panel presentation will be followed with an opportunity for dialogue on the topic.
The community engagement forum is sponsored by the Memorial Union.
