NDSU students can get free Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus, a full version of Office that includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and more. NDSU employees who are enrolled for one or more credits at NDSU also qualify for the free software.
Instructions on how to get the free software are available at www.ndsu.edu/its/microsoft-student-advantage.
Anyone enrolled for one or more credits at NDSU can install the software on multiple PCs, Macs and tablets. Office 365 ProPlus has the same features and functions as other versions of Office and can be used offline; however, users must connect to the Internet once every 30 days to verify they are still eligible for the program.
Students, faculty and staff who have questions or need assistance installing the software are encouraged to stop by a booth hosted by the IT Help Desk on Thursday, Dec. 4, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Memorial Union.
Contact the IT Help Desk at 701-231-8685 (option 1) or ndsu.helpdesk@ndsu.edu if you have questions or need assistance.
