NDSU junior Chris Kading was voted to the Capital One Academic All-District men’s basketball team announced Feb. 5 by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Kading, who grew up in De Pere, Wisconsin, advances to the national ballot for Capital One Academic All-America honors to be announced later this month. He has a 3.80 cumulative grade-point average in exercise science.

To be eligible for Academic All-District and Academic All-America consideration, a student-athlete must be a starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 and have reached sophomore athletic and academic standings.
