Cynthia Grothe, lecturer in accounting, was recently named director of the Master of Accountancy program. She previously held the title of Master of Accountancy adviser.
The Master of Accountancy program is a non-thesis, professional program structured to advance the knowledge of qualified students with an undergraduate accounting degree. It is designed to have students complete graduate studies needed to advance their careers whether it be in public accounting, corporate accounting or government accounting and prepare them for the certified public accounting exam.
The program is fully accredited by AACSB International.
Grothe earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Business Taxation from the University of Southern California.
