Two NDSU juniors have been awarded the 2015-16 NDSU Women's Club Scholarship. Biosystems engineering major McKinzie Ernst and psychology major Rachel Todhunter were selected from a competitive applicant pool for their excellence in academic achievement leadership, and community service.
They will each receive a $1,000 scholarship for the 2015-16 academic year and a one-year membership to the NDSU Women's Club. They will be honored at the organization's Fall Event Sept. 14.
Each year, the NDSU Women's Club provides a number of merit-based scholarships to students at NDSU based on available funds. Student who are awarded the scholarship must meet the following criteria:
• Cumulative grade point average at NDSU of 3.2 or above at the end of the previous fall semester;
• Female student from North Dakota, South Dakota or Minnesota;
• Junior or senior (third- or fourth-year) status during the upcoming fall semester, regardless of age; and
• Excellence in extracurricular involvement, leadership and community service.
