The NDSU College of Business is scheduled to host guest speaker Joanna Slominski, who will present “Use Your Voice to Advance Your Career.” The presentation is set for Thursday, Nov. 5, at 4 p.m. in Barry Hall's Ag Country Auditorium.
Slominski, a 2004 NDSU graduate in construction engineering, has risen through the ranks at Mortenson Construction to become a construction executive. She is managing the work on the new Sanford Fargo Medical Center – Fargo-Moorhead’s largest construction project and one of the top 10 largest health care construction projects in the nation.
As construction executive, Slominski plans, organizes, staffs and oversees construction and manages the $375 million construction budget.
She received the 2015 NDSU Horizon Award, recognizing her early career accomplishments and exceptional community service.
The talk is part of the “Find Your Voice, Use Your Voice” series, which is funded through a grant by Target Corp.
