NDSU College of Business faculty publish research

Jin Li, associate professor of marketing, and Chanchai Tangpong, professor of management, recently had their paper, “Dark Side of Reciprocity Norm: Ethical Compromise in Business Exchanges,” accepted for publication in Industrial Marketing Management.

The journal provides theoretical, case-based research geared to the needs of marketing scholars and practitioners in industrial, high-tech firms and business-to-business markets.

Li earned his bachelor's degree at Northeastern University, Shenyang, Liaoning, China; master's degree at China University of Mining and Technology, China; and doctorate from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. His research focuses on e-commerce, retailing, consumer judgment and business ethics.

Tangpong earned his bachelor's degree at Prince of Songkhla University, Thailand, and his MBA and doctorate at Southern Illinois University. His research interests include strategic values of firm-supplier relationships, inter-organizational dynamics, managerial and ethical decision-making and management team dynamics.
