Faculty and staff are invited to attend “Grant Writing 101,” a free Webcast sponsored by the NDSU Office of Research, Creative Activities and Technology Transfer. The event is part of the “Gear Up for Grants” seminar series.
The Webcast is planned for Monday, Feb. 23, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Memorial Union Century Theater and Tuesday, Feb. 24, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Research 1, room 148-154.
The Webcast will explain how to successfully draft private foundation grants. Specifically, the program will cover:
• When to start with a project or a funder,
• Where and how to look for potential funders,
• What a successful grant proposal looks like,
• How to proceed and follow up on funded and non-funded requests and
• How funders react to proposals and make their decisions.
