Staff Recognition Awards nominations sought

SHARE

The NDSU Staff Senate and the Office of Human Resources are seeking nominations for Staff Recognition Awards.

Up to 10 individual recognition awards will be distributed to employees in five NDSU categories: administrative/professional (three awards), technical/paraprofessional (one award), office support (three awards), crafts/trades (one award) and services (two awards). The number of awards is based on percentages in each category. The team/committee recognition award is given to a team of up to 10 members.

The winners of the individual awards are forwarded to Gov. John Hoeven to be considered for the Excellence in Public Service award, which recognizes state employees for their dedication and contributions to the people of North Dakota.

Laura Dallmann, Staff Senate treasurer, said, “The Staff Recognition Awards are given to acknowledge outstanding achievement on the job, exceptional contributions toward the effectiveness and efficiency of operations or outstanding service to other employees, students or visitors. They also honor distinguished efforts in staff development.”

Nomination forms and guidelines can be found at www.ndsu.edu/staff_senate. Forms can be completed online or printed and submitted via campus mail. Employees in the “Crafts and Trades” and “Service” bands also will have the option to pick up a nomination form from their supervisors if they do not have access to the electronic version.

For more information, contact Dallmann at 1-7607 or laura.dallmann@ndsu.edu.
