Carol A. Archbold, professor of criminal justice, is scheduled to be a panelist at the “Social Effects of the Oil Boom" symposium sponsored by the North Dakota Law Review at the University of North Dakota School of Law April 7 in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
The symposium will feature discussion about North Dakota’s changing social landscape in the Bakken region and its impact on five legal fields: housing, immigration, human trafficking, crime and Indian Country jurisprudence.
Archbold is set to participate on the “Crime” panel at 12:35 p.m. with Steven R. Morrison, law professor; Jake Rodenbiker, McKenzie County State’s Attorney; and Tim Purdon, former United States Attorney for the District of North Dakota and current partner at Robins Kaplan LLP.
