SHARE

The Northern Plains Ethics Institute is set to host a legislative forum for NDSU employees. The forum, titled "Legislative Forum on Maximizing Efficient, Legal Interaction," is scheduled Monday, May 2, at noon in the Memorial Union Arikara room.

The forum will feature Sen. Ronald Sorvaag, Rep. Joshua Boschee and NDSU chief of staff Chris Wilson.

The event was requested by a vote of the NDSU Faculty Senate Executive Committee.

"The institute is hosting the event because its mission is to promote democratic participation in social and ethical issues affecting the Northern Plains and beyond," said Dennis Cooley, Faculty senate president and institute director. "The institute provides a non-partisan forum for people to have conversations, and we want this event to be a conversation between our legislators and employees."

According to Cooley, panelists will make a few remarks and then open the floor to questions and conversation.

All interested NDSU employees are invited to attend.
