A LIVE REAL Mentor session on alcohol and sexual violence is scheduled for Wednesday, April 13, at noon in the Memorial Union Arikara room.
The session will address the relationship between alcohol consumption and sexual violence and how it is can lead to dangerous assumptions and victim blame. All NDSU faculty, staff, and students are invited to learn about social norms regarding sexual behavior and alcohol, along with the impact of alcohol on both victims and offenders and the role of alcohol in victim blame.
Representatives from the NDSU Counseling Center and Sexual Assault Prevention and Advocacy will present the session.
