Thomas Ambrosio, associate professor of criminal justice, will present “Human Trafficking in a Global Economy” on Monday, March 2, at 1 p.m. in the Memorial Union Arikara room. The presentation is part of the Social Justice Series sponsored by the Student Activities Office.
Ambrosio will discuss international policy approaches to ending human trafficking, including the role of the United States and international organizations like the United Nations and the European Union.
Ambrosio teaches courses on international relations and international law. He is the author or editor of five books. His most recent book examines Russia’s role in undermining and countering democratization in the former Soviet Union.
