Weeds, diseases, insect pests and opportunities to add value to the region's pulse crops are among the topics for this year's pulse day program set for July 7 at NDSU's North Central Research Extension Center near Minot, North Dakota.
The program is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to noon. Lunch will be served at noon.
Other topics that will be covered are:
• An update from the Northern Pulse Growers Association
• Pulse crop breeding
• Variety and fungicide trial results
The program also will include a soil pit demonstration.
The event is free of charge.
