Students participating in the NDSU Service Seminar will travel to La Antigua, Guatemala, in May to build homes. The trip is in collaboration with The God’s Child Project, a service organization based in Bismarck, N.D.
The group is seeking donations of new or gently used children’s clothing and toys. Soccer balls, jump ropes and other outdoor activity toys are best. Drop off donation items at the Volunteer Network in the Memorial Union. Items will be accepted until May 1.
The NDSU Service Seminar is a three-credit, service-learning course listed through the sociology department. It provides students with an understanding of social justice and cultural issues pertaining to Guatemalan society.
