Derek Lehmberg, associate professor of management, co-wrote a paper, “The impact of power distance and uncertainty avoidance on real options exercise: Potential for sub-optimal time delays and value destruction,” that has been accepted for publication by the Journal of Behavioral Finance.
Lehmberg joined the NDSU faculty in 2009. His research interests include strategic investment under technological uncertainty, competitive strategy and Japanese management.
He earned his bachelor’s degree at Northwestern University; his master’s degree at Kobe University, Japan; his Master of Business Administration at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France; and his doctorate at the Richard Ivey School of Business, Western University, Canada.
