NDSU will be in the national spotlight Sunday when the NCAA reveals the pairings on live television for its Division I men's basketball tournament.

A three-person crew from CBS Sports visited campus Wednesday and Thursday to document the NDSU team's return from Sioux Falls, S.D., where the Bison won their first Summit League championship.

Interviews with head coach Saul Phillips and selected players will be part of a nationally televised feature Sunday afternoon on CBS leading up to the annual Selection Show, which is scheduled for 5 p.m. CDT.

NCAA March Madness is one of the nation's most captivating sporting events, and the Bison are part of the intrigue after qualifying for the tournament in their first year of eligibility.

Senior point guard Ben Woodside, who made the championship game's winning shot, and Phillips were the subjects of multiple national interviews on television and radio stretching from Fargo to Seattle, Phoenix to Tampa, and New York to Minneapolis.

Coverage of the Bison will continue as tournament time draws near. The New York Times will have a correspondent in Fargo on Sunday when the tournament brackets are announced on CBS. Woodside made headlines in the Times after his school-record 60-point game in December.
