NDSU art history student Carin Jorgensen has been selected to present the Orland J. Rourke Memorial Lecture on Wednesday, March 18, at 7 p.m. in Olin Hall, Concordia College. The lecture is free and open to the public.
Jorgensen’s lecture is based on her baccalaureate research paper titled “Mikhaill Vrubel: The Shell Series, 1904-1905.” Rourke lectures are given by Tri-College art history and philosophy students who are selected based on the quality of their work.
Jorgensen also will travel to Boston for the Advancement of Slavic Studies conference in November to present this paper with Kris Groberg, assistant professor of visual arts, during the Russian Art at the Turn of the 20th Century panel.
For more information, contact Groberg at 1-8359.
