Registration is open for the fall session of “Mommy, Me and SWE!” The program, hosted by the NDSU Chapter of the Society of Women Engineers, is designed for girls in grades K-2 and their moms.
The fall session of the program is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 19, from 8 a.m. to noon in the Construction Management Auditorium at NDSU and other nearby classrooms.
The program teaches young girls about engineering and science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields, known as STEM, by taking part in hands-on activities and projects with their moms. At the end of the morning, the girls complete a project while their moms learn more about how to encourage their daughters to continue to pursue their interests in STEM.
