Stacey Winter, director of purchasing, has been appointed to the board of directors for the National Association of Educational Procurement.
Winter is the current president of the association’s Minnesota/Dakota Manitoba region. As president, one of her primary duties includes coordinating the annual regional education meeting.
The association is a non-profit professional organization primarily dedicated to serving higher education purchasing officers in the United States and Canada. There are more than 1,500 colleges and universities that are members of the association, which provides professional development and working opportunities.
The buying group that NDSU belongs to is E & I Cooperative. The buying group is not-for-profit and was established by the National Association of Educational Procurement to provide lower costs for higher education.
