The Northern Crops Institute at NDSU is set to host a group of international participants during a course to promote soybeans Monday, June 5, through Saturday, June 10. The attendees are sponsored in part by the U.S. Soybean Export Council, World Initiative for Soy in Human Health, Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council, North Dakota Soybean Council and the South Dakota Soybean Research and Promotion Council.

The course will teach practical processing methods and innovative applications of soybean ingredients in meat, beverage, baking, snacks, traditional soy foods and animal feed products.

Course participants will hear various speakers, watch demonstrations and take part in hands-on labs at locations throughout Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. There also will be tours and a farm visit. Institute staff will accompany them during the lectures, demonstrations and tours to answer questions.
