A name change has been announced for the federal Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research programs, known as EPSCoR.
The American Innovation and Competitiveness Act passed in January renames the programs as the Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) and revises program requirements.
Effective immediately, ND EPSCoR is now North Dakota Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research. The name change will be reflected in the department’s website, communications and publications in the near future.
North Dakota EPSCoR is a federally and state funded program designed to improve the ability of university researchers to compete more effectively for federal, regional and private research grants in the sciences, engineering and mathematics.
