NDSU seniors Morgan Milbrath and Amy Andrushko were named to the Academic All-District 6 team in Division I women’s track and field, announced May 24 by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Milbrath, a senior with a 3.97 cumulative grade point average in physical education, was the 2017 Summit League indoor champion in the 400m dash. She captured the outdoor conference title in the 400-meter hurdles, and was also a league champion in both the indoor and outdoor 1,600 relays. Over the course of her career, Milbrath was an 11-time conference champion, a 17-time all-league performer and a 23-time Summit League placewinner.
Andrushko, a senior nursing major with a 3.95 cumulative GPA, was a five-time Summit League champion in the 800, winning the league title three times outdoor and twice indoor in addition to being a seven-time Summit League champion in relay events.
Andrushko and Milbrath become the 10th and 11th women in NDSU’s Division I era to earn first-team Academic All-District honors. Both advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America honors.
